GOOD vets talk to animals, great vets hear them talk back.

We’re searching for the Gold Coast’s best vet and we want to hear from you.

Nominate your favourite vet with their name, surgery and suburb of work in the comments below or on social media and they’ll go in the running to win Best of the Gold Coast.

The nomination window closes on Wednesday, August 26 at 5pm, and a shortlist of nominees will be put to a vote on the same day.

The voting will stay open until Monday, August 31 at 9am, when we’ll then tally the votes and reveal the top 10. 

Here are a few nominations to get you started:

Dr Kevin Cruickshank

Last year’s winner Kevin Cruickshank was clearly ahead of the pack when it came to the vote. He is a knowledgeable vet who has worked at the Gold Coast Vet Surgery for the past 13 years, treating the community’s pets with kindness and compassion.

Rich Seymour worked for a national vet business for a number of years before opening his own surgery in Miami in 2016. He says his interests in animal health lie in pet behaviour and psychology.

Kim Prescott is a third generation vet and has been working in the field for 21 years now. She likes to offer alternative therapies in her practice including acupuncture.
