Life’s a beach on the Gold Coast, and we all have our favourite sandy enclaves.

Nominations are now open to find the Gold Coast’s best beach, so we want to know your go-to spot for swimming, surfing and sunbaking.

Nominate your favourite beach in the comments below and it’ll go in the nominations list to have a chance at winning Best of the Gold Coast: best beach.

Please note — once a beach has been nominated, there’s no need to nominate it again.

Here are a few suggestions to get you started:

Miami

Miami is one of the best spots for surfers with breaks for all levels of board riders. The long stretch of sand is great for a tranquil beach walk at low tide and the view of the Surfers Paradise skyline lights up at sunset.

The Spit

The Spit has sheltered parts and wide open spaces, perfect for families and adventure seekers. People can snorkel, wind surf and fish, or simply soak up the sun with their best furry friend, as the The Spit is completely dog friendly.

Burleigh Heads

It’s easy to see why Burleigh Heads won best beach on the Gold Coast last year. This incredibly picturesque beach sparkles with clear blue water, a national park, open grassy parks for families, and is protected from southerlies thanks to the headland, making the beach ideal for wading.
