Offshore: Too rough to fish out wide, once the wind settles try for mackerel in close. Been a few yellow fin on the Nine Mile and dolphin fish on the 36's.
Seaway: A few bull sharks around the bar entrance along with jewfish on the Pipeline. Try for sand crabs opposite Bayview Harbour. Mangrove jacks around Bundall Bridge along with whiting and mud crabs.
Jumpinpin: Whiting in the shallow beach gutters, quite a few whiting also around the bar entrance on the northern side of Sth Straddie. Flathead northern banks of Crusoe Island. Moses perch around the coffee Rocks northern end of Canaipa Passage.
Paradise Point: Flathead around Crab Island and mid reaches of the Pimpama River. Sand crabs around the creek and river entrances. Still some muddies in the mid reaches. Mangrove jacks around Coomera River Bridge near the M1.
Tweed: Mangrove jacks along Chinderah wall and Tumbulgum bridge. Whiting in the shallow beach gutters around Kingscliff. Try for mud crabs in Terranora inlet and opposite Oxley cove.
DIVING:
High tide 1.40pm at Tweed bar. 10 knot southerly winds; 1.5m easterly swell; 22C water temperature; visibility 8-10m and improving with the southerly winds. Plenty of rays, leopard sharks, dolphins, turtles and Spanish dancers.
