Offshore: Excellent conditions for boating with light winds. Still a few showers forecast from time to time. Try for squire and snapper 36s north east. Been a few mulloway around Sullies and the Mud Hole. Try for pearl and king fish on the shelf along marlin and dolphin fish.
Seaway: Flathead along both bar walls on the run-out tide using live herring. School jew around the pipeline and also the south wall near the gates. Whiting around TSS, Ski Beach and Cronin Island. Plenty of winter whiting Seaword deep hole. Sand crabs shallow channels. Mangrove jacks opposite Bundall bridge.
Jumpinpin: Sand crabs in numbers throughout the shallow channels. Plenty of mud crabs in the Logan River. A few small squire bar entrance and powerlines on yabbies. Bream and flathead found here as well.
Paradise Point: Mangrove jack end of Sanctuary Cove canals. Reminder it is illegal to fish in the canal off Sanctuary Cove. Quite a few chopper tailor in the main channel south of Currigee. Load of bait fish about. Sand crabs adjacent Aldershots.
Tweed: Bass in the upper reaches near the weir. Also try for bream Tumbulgum bridge, Stotts Island and a few mangrove jacks as well. Whiting in the shallow creeks as well. Try for bream along the bar walls headland with yabbies. The odd trevally opposite hospital near the wreck.
DIVING:
High tide 8.18pm. Swell heading east less than one metre. Winds will be SSE around 11 knots. Water temp around 20 degrees. Visibility about 13 metres. Seeing tropical fish and rays.
