GOLD Coast and Tweed Heads fishing and diving report with Paul Burt.

Offshore: Rough conditions, won't settle until Tuesday at this stage.

Jumpinpin: Tailor from Pandanus Island south to Tipplers. Plenty of flathead also in the back waters of Russell Island. Try for whiting around Green Bank, Tiger Mullet channel and the Fiveways. Sand crabs throughout Measured Mile and opposite the entrance to Whalley's gutter.

Paradise Point: Mangrove jacks Couran Cove, Sanctuary Cove and Hope Island rock walls. Plenty of flathead opposite PP near the marina. Try potting for sand crabs opposite Currigee and entrance to Browns Inlet.

Tweed Heads: Mud crabs moving out of the lakes. Also try the walls downstream from Stotts Island. Mangrove jacks throughout the canals and around bridge pylons in the upper reaches. A few tailor off the headlands, though watch for the swell with the southerly about.
