Gold Coast and Tweed Heads fishing and diving report for November 29

GOLD Coast and Tweed Heads fishing and diving report with Paul Burt.

FISHING:

Offshore: rough conditions for the next four days. Be careful around the bar entrances.

Seaway: Trevally on the pipe. Few mangrove jacks Monaco St canals and around the convention centre. Try for mud crabs in the mid reaches of the Nerang River and whiting around the sand pumping jetty.

Jumpinpin: Flathead around Tipplers channel. Also try through five ways and opposite slipping sands. The odd tailor around the entrance and sea bream. Try for mud crabs around Jacobs Well. Been a few bull sharks in the Logan River.

Paradise Point: Mangrove jacks entrance to Couran Cove as well as Runaway Bay canals on large soft plastic shads. Whiting opposite crab island in the channels.

Tweed: Bream along the main bar walls. Also try the marinas. Been a few trevally in the marinas as well as opposite the Ivory Hotel. The odd dart and sea bream around Hastings Point off of rocks.

DIVING:

High tide is 4.21pm at Tweed Bar. Swell from northerly direction and picking up from 1.5m to 1.7m. Wind from NNW direction at 20-22 knots all day. Water temperature is 22 degree and visibility is 4-5m. Seeing turtles, ray and wobbegongs.
