Offshore: Rough conditions should settle by Thursday. There has been plenty of cobia and kingfish on the chew; also the mackerel should not be too far away
Seaway: Plenty of flathead from the tower to the silos and along the rock walls. Whiting Cronin Island to council chambers on blood worm and yabbies. Australian bass Clear Island Waters and back waters of the Hinze
Jumpinpin: Mangrove jacks and bream southern corner Short Island, power lines and adjacent rock walls. A few bull sharks north east corner of Crusoe Island and mid reaches of the Logan River.
Paradise Point: Estuary cod, big eye trevally and mangrove jacks around Couran Cove, oyster leases in the Pimpama and Sanctuary Cove to Paradise Point walls. Also try under Ephraim Island bridge at night. Flathead around the marinas.
Tweed Heads: Tarwhine and dart in the deeper beach gutters from Fingal to Kingscliff. Also try whiting shallow Kingscliff gutters and opposite the tick gates. Flathead in Mooball Creek at Pottsville, try the canals and along Kennedy Drive.
DIVING:
High tide is 4.06pm at Tweed bar. Southerly swell at 2m decreasing in the coming days. 20 knot southerly winds; water temperature has dropped to 20C; visibility around 5-78m, this will improve coming into the weekend. Plenty of turtles, dolphins, wobbegongs, lionfish and blue gropers.
