Gold Coast and Tweed Heads fishing and diving report for December 2

GOLD Coast and Tweed Heads fishing and diving report with Paul Burt.

FISHING:

Offshore: Too rough to fish at the moment best to wait until Wednesday. Been some good catches of cobia in close with kingfish out wide.

Seaway: Trevally on the pipeline, mangrove jacks behind the Convention Centre. Bream opposite the Tower.

Jumpinpin: Whiting on Green and Gold Banks. Flathead around Pandanus and Tipplers Channel. School jew and bull sharks mark's Rocks.

Paradise Point: Sand crabs opposite the Aldershots. Whiting and flathead throughout Crab Island channels. Mangrove jacks along Paradise Point wall.

Tweed Heads: Flathead around the lakes at Seagulls, bream adjacent the bar walls, whiting on the tick gates.

DIVING:

High tide is 8.11am at Tweed bar. Water temperature 21C. 20 knot southerly winds and 2m southerly swell. 2m vis inside and outside. Visibility should improve with the southerly conditions over the next few days. There are plenty of octopus, blue gropers, turtles and dolphins.
