Offshore: Conditions settling down try for mackerel on Palm Beach reef, dolphin fish on the 36's, pearl perch, snapper and kingys on the 50s.
Seaway: Flathead Labrador channels and opposite the Southport pool. Sand crabs similar areas, whiting Cronin Island and around the end of Campbell Street. A few trevally and bream Bond Uni flood gates.
Jumpinpin: Mangrove jacks around Marks Rocks and opposite the gazebo in the Logan. Flathead in numbers northern banks of Crusoe, entrance to Jacobs Well channel. Mud crabs along mangrove-lined banks in the back reaches.
Paradise Point: Mangrove jacks throughout Hope Island channels. Also try Paradise Point wall and surrounding canals. Soft plastics shads and hard bodied lures working well. Mud crabs in the Coomera near the highway bridge. Flathead Browns Inlet and the Aldershots.
Tweed Heads: Tailor off Burleigh headland and Hastings Point. Sea bream in the deeper gutters along Fingal. The odd school jew around the bridge at Murwillumbah. Mangrove jacks and trevally in the marinas.
DIVING:
High tide is 5.30pm at Tweed bar. 1m southerly swell with around 10 knot southerly winds. 21C water temperature. 8m visibility. The southerly winds and swell will bring clean clear water and we have been seeing plenty of turtles, blue gropers, a few leopard sharks and rays.
