Offshore: Rough conditions, winds expected to settle by tonight (Thursday). Should be some wahoo, yellowfin and mackerel on the 24's tomorrow (Friday).
Seaway: Flathead opposite Bayview Harbour, Marina Mirage and the Southport Pool. Try trolling lures that just bounce the bottom. A few tailor around the walls in the wash. The odd jew on the Pipeline along with kingfish. Mangrove jacks behind the Casino in surrounding canal systems.
Jumpinpin: A few tailor around the entrance on the run in tide. Try for bream on the southern tip of Short Island and around the powerline bases. Bull sharks Mark's Rocks and upstream from the M1 in the Logan River. Plenty of mud crabs in the back waters.
Paradise Point: Mangrove jacks around Diamond Head, western side of the M1 in the Coomera. Flathead and garfish around the weed beds of Crab Island. Sand crabs opposite Bayview Harbour and Runaway Bay.
Tweed: Mud crabs mid reaches of Mooball Creek and Cudgen Creek. Also try around Mud Bay in the Tweed River. Mangrove jacks around Stotts Island and down towards the Piggery a few whiting here as well. Dart off Fingal Beach in the deep gutters
