Australians are losing their minds after discovering Woolworths is selling three wheelie suitcases for just $136 – with many stating they didn’t even realise the supermarket sold the often expensive item.

Sarah Heaslip showed off her recent purchase from the Australian retailer’s “Everyday Market”, an online marketplace designed to complement Woolworth’s grocery website, in a recent video that has surprised shoppers.

In the clip she can be seen unboxing “Wanderlite 3 piece Luggage Set” which features two check in cases and a matching carry on.

The white travel cases, sold by a third party store on the Woolworths website, usually retail for $177 but are currently on offer for $40 less.

“For all three of these it was $130 from Woolworths,” Sarah said on TikTok.

“They’re so light, they’ve got the locks and the hard-case.”

She also pointed out the suitcases had wheels, a feature she really wanted after witnessing someone she knows struggle to carry their suitcase during a recent trip to Italy.

While Sarah suspected the white colour of the bags would get dirty, she stated the trio would be easy to clean, and decided to purchase them ahead of her move to the UK.

“Yeah I didn’t know Woolworths sold suitcases either hahaha but here we are! Let’s see how they go,” she captioned her clip, which has been viewed over 100,000 times to date.

Many social media users were impressed with the bargain purchase and agreed, they had “no idea” Woolworths had an online marketplace.

“I have these and they've been chucked thru airport sm and they are so good,” one social media user commented.

Another said: “I can’t even afford a holiday but you’ve influenced me to buy them.”

“Wow for that price I’M SAVING THIS! I have the Kmart one and didn’t like it at all!!! Cannot wait to purchase this for my holiday this year,” another frothed.

“Yesss! I been looking for suitcases! Just purchased after seeing this! Thank you,” someone else said.

While many were delighted at the discovery, one claimed they didn’t have such a good experience.

“I bought these for my Europe trip this year and my big one broke before I left,” the user said.

Others pointed out the massive savings to be made, with popular versions from other brands selling for over $300 for a single check-in case.

Woolworths said it has “been great to see how popular the ‘Wanderlite 3 Piece Luggage Set’ has been with our customers since its launch on Everyday Market,” adding customers also receive extra Rewards points for purchasing at the marketplace.

“This three piece luggage set is jam packed with value for customers who are finalising their travel plans,” the Everyday Market spokesperson told news.com.au.

“Everyday Reward members will also receive 10x points for any purchases made over $100 on Everyday Market before September 26, leading to even more savings at the checkout.”

The marketplace sells an array of items, including furniture, homewares and electronics.
