‘My kids will be ecstatic!’

This week, one Aussie mum took to Facebook to break the news that an old favourite had been spotted in her local Brisbane ALDI store - Sweet Haven Mini Churros.

“Just saying…my kids will be ecstatic!  It’s been at least 5 years since churros were available at Aldi and now they are back…as a limited edition,” she said in the ALDI Mums Facebook group.

“Buy up mums and give them a go!”

This kickstarted mayhem in the comments, with shoppers from all over the country getting excited about the release.

“My Husband said the apple ones tastes like a Maccas apple pie,” one commenter said.

“OMG my son LOVED these! He’ll be ecstatic, he’s been asking me to buy them for years!!!!” said another.

“Omg, forget the kids, it's munchy time for the adults,” added a third.

ALDI’s Sweet Haven Mini Churros retail for just $5.99, and are available in two delicious flavours; Apple and Cinnamon, and Cocoa and Hazelnut Filling.

But, it turns out they’re part of a much larger release, with plenty more yummy goodness to come.

The churros are just one of over 40 new and returning seasonal products about to hit shelves across Australia as part of a Limited Time Only Range for Summer.

The range is designed for effortless end of year entertaining, enabling hosts to put on the best event possible without breaking the bank.

Included in the range are a few more sweet surprises, including the new Milfina Plat-A-Pops ($4.99) and Expressi White Choc Flavoured Hot Chocolate Capsules ($6.79).

But, there will be a few healthy treats too, like the Sweet Vine Dark Chocolate Dipped Mango ($3.99) and the new Food Envy Protein Pancakes (3.99).

Party staples like cheeses and dips, and hassle-free dinner options, are also included in the drop.
