A MULTI-MILLION dollar hotel with a rooftop bar will open at the Gold Coast Airport precinct in 2019.
The four-star $50 million Rydges hotel, which also has a viewing deck, will feature 192 rooms and suites over seven storeys with sweeping views of Kirra beach, the airport runway and the hinterland.
The hotel will also boast a restaurant, resort-style swimming pool, and function, conference and meeting facilities.
It will be located close to the airport’s major terminal expansion project, with construction of both projects expected to start late next year and completed in 2019.
The hotel will be developed and managed by a newly created entity, Gold Coast Airport Hotel Pty Ltd and will be branded under Rydges Hotels and Resorts.
