Our Journalists

Tom Boswell is News Corp’s Queensland Local Sport Editor/Gold Coast Bulletin Sport Editor, as well as writing for CODE Sports. With over a decade of experience in sports journalism Boswell has worked from the grassroots right up to the elite level. He spent over six years covering the AFL extensively and is now managing the company’s regional and local sports journalists across Qld.

Chelsea Bunting is a reporter at the Gold Coast Bulletin. She was previously the first mobile journalist for the Geelong Advertiser. Chelsea won the Ray Frawley Young Journalist of the Year in the Rural Press Club of Victoria awards in 2023.

James is a Digital Content Creator at news.com.au and is part of the News Corp Australia’s digital real estate team. His previous experience includes working for Sky News Australia.

Crystal Fox is a journalist for the Gold Coast Bulletin. As an Aussie rules player, avid local music lover and lifelong resident, Crystal can cover virtually anything on the Gold Coast.
Rosie Gale covers general news as a national cadet reporter with News Corp, filing stories at Gold Coast Bulletin and The Courier Mail. She began her role in 2024 after graduating with a Bachelor of Communication majoring in Journalism at Queensland University of Technology. Rosie has a background in exercise science and health and previously worked as a match reporter for Suncorp Super Netball. Before that, she gained newsroom experience with 7 News and ARN and worked as a producer at 102.9 Hot Tomato.
Grace Hamilton is a Sports Reporter for the Gold Coast Bulletin and CODE Sports, with a primary focus on local and regional sport. Her particular interests include netball and volleyball but extend to a variety of codes including the VFL/ AFL, local and National Rugby League, waterpolo and athletics.

Charlton Hart is a Senior Crime Reporter for the The Gold Coast Bulletin. His journalism career began in regional New South Wales covering drought, bushfires, floods, a mouse plague and, the Covid19 pandemic. Charlton is committed to using his reporting to hold government and powerful institutions to account.

Tahlia Leathart is journalist based with the Gold Coast Bulletin covering education, events and central Gold Coast. Tahlia has completed the News Corp National Editorial Cadet Program and has now been with the Bulletin since July 2023.

Jeremy Pierce has been a journalist on the Gold Coast for more than 20 years covering crime, sport, politics and general interest stories. He is also The Courier-Mail’s tourism reporter, covering tourism stories and issues across the state.

Andrew Potts is Assistant Chief of Staff with The Gold Coast Bulletin, covering politics, development, history and the tourism industry. His reports with fellow Bulletin journalist Paul Weston on corruption allegations surrounding the 2016 local government elections foreshadowed and Crime and Corruption Commission’s Operation Belcarra Inquiry and were recognised at the Gold Coast Media Awards. His reports on transport, the development industry, council and community issues have also been recognised by the same awards. His weekly column delves into the Gold Coast’s history and its untold stories.
Kathleen Skene is a Walkley and Clarion Award-winning journalist. In a career spanning almost 20 years in regional journalism, Skene has covered almost every news round available, including court, crime, government, agriculture and business.

Alex Treacy is the Gold Coast Bulletin’s chief crime reporter. He has previously filed for newsrooms in Tasmania, the Northern Territory, and Queensland.
Emily Walker is a court reporter for the Gold Coast Bulletin. She has moved from regional New South Wales where she covered a variety of topics including court, sport, crime, shark attacks and breaking news.

Ann Wason Moore has plenty of opinions, lots of stories and no filter. Ann has been writing about the Gold Coast almost as long as she’s lived here – which is more decades than she cares to admit. Despite being born and raised in Dallas, Texas, she considers herself a true local – even if she still doesn’t speak like one. While the dual national can never enter politics, she can vote in two countries and is willing to criticise all parties. In keeping with her bi-citizenship, she tackles topics both serious and humorous. She is a regular guest on ABC Gold Coast and enjoys the opportunity to share inappropriate stories on air as well as in print.

Paul Weston is a senior journalist with The Gold Coast Bulletin covering politics and campaigns on community issues. His reports on the Coast’s spate of high profile domestic violence killings was part of a Bulletin series which led to widespread reforms. Similarly, articles on police fudging crime numbers led to recognition at the Queensland media awards, the Clarions. His recent reporting on corruption allegations surrounding the Gold Coast City Council foreshadowed a Crime and Corruption Commission investigation. His weekly column aims to tell the story behind news headlines.

Keith Woods is a journalist with more than 20 years of experience across multiple roles. Keith is currently Head of Content and a columnist at the Gold Coast Bulletin. In recent years he has also been a News Award winner and graduate of the Digital News Academy.
