Gold Coast Radio host fesses up to her friendship with MAFS star Heidi Latcham

Gold Coast radio host Emily-Jade O’Keeffe says her MAFS star buddy wasn’t treated right.

GOLD COAST radio host Emily Jade O’Keefe has revealed her close friendship with one of the Married At First Sight’s biggest stars.

The 102.9 Hot Tomato brekky show presenter finally fessed up this morning to her long standing friendship with MAFS contestant Heidi Latcham.

But that wasn’t the only thing she had to shared to her over 12,000 Instagram followers.

HEIDI AND MIKE SPLIT AFTER MAFS VOW RENEWAL

Mrs O’Keeffe wasn’t happy with the way her mate Heidi was treated on the show by her reality TV husband and Gold Coast contestant Mike Gunner.

“I don’t miss seeing Mike totally ignore her needs and say sexist righteous comments,” Ms O’Keeffe wrote.

“As the dust settles on #mafs just wanted to say how proud I am of my darling friend (sic),” she wrote.

“It’s been such a surreal experience watching a true friend on a reality show.”

She also shut down rumours that Ms Latcham may have been a paid actor on the show.

“(I) can say that Heidi behaved exactly as she is in real life,” Ms O’Keeffe wrote.

“All I can do is come to the conclusion that all of the others did the same.

“When I now interview ‘reality stars’ on my radio show I’m not going to fall for the ‘it’s the way they edited it’ BS they say to defend themselves (sic).”

Ms O’Keeffe also shared a photo of her friend Ms Latcham that was featured recently in a magazine claiming she was pregnant.

The photo showed Ms Latcham holding a baby, which was one of O’Keeffe’s two children.

“I’ll help you raise your mythical magazine ‘baby’ or let you hold mine so you can appear in its pages again,” O’Keeffe added to the post.

Ms Latchum and Mr Gunner confirmed they split after the show’s vow renewals.
