THE move to the Broadwater Parklands has seen the biggest crowd in years at the annual Gold Coast Show.
Crowds have been so large that popular showbags like long-time favourite the Bertie Beetle show bags were completely sold out on Saturday.
Show representative Peta-Jayne Habner said they already predict more than 100,000 people attended the event over the weekend, a big increase from previous years.

“Some of the traders from Sideshow Alley and from the showbags are saying they haven’t seen crowds like this in a long, long time,” she said.
“The biggest part is we’re really thrilled with how much the Gold Coast has come and supported the show.
“The thing is everyone wants the show and they just needed it to be in a great location, easy to get to, with great weather, there’s so much on offer and everybody was just so happy to be there.”
Ms Habner said she’d also seen families coming along to show their younger children the fun of the show for the first time.
