Block star breaks silence on flirting scandal

Amid the fallout, the Block contestant at the centre of the bombshell flirting scandal has addressed the state of his marriage.

The Block’s Brad Baker has spoken out about the state of his marriage after being embroiled in a flirting scandal with another contestant on the show.

This season was rocked by the bombshell exit of Kylie Baker, who walked off set after overhearing her husband of seven years tell Mimi Belperio over a drink that he would “follow” her OnlyFans if she had one.

At the time, Brad, who shares four children with Kylie, told producers he believed his wife had left him for good, and that he’d “single-handedly destroyed” his family.

However, months later, the pair appear to still be sharing a home in Cairns, according to the Daily Mail.

When asked by the publication whether their relationship has been repaired, Brad responded:

“I obviously can’t say. I never said we’re together, or not.”

He was also questioned on whether the pair would be attending the auctions next Saturday.

‘That’s something that I am still talking to my wife about, we don’t know what we’re doing,’ he said.

Amid the fallout from the incident on the show, and after Kylie’s disappearance was discovered, Brad confessed to his inappropriate remarks to Mimi – who is married to Block teammate Kristian Belperio – admitted he was “embarrassed” by his actions.

“I’m embarrassed, and I feel sorry for other people having to live with my choices,” he told producers on camera.

“She’s the last person I want to hurt – her or my kids or my family. But I managed to do it anyway. There’s no way this is going to go away or get better. It’s done.”

Asked if he thought Kylie had left him for good, Brad said: “I’d say so. I’d very much say that I’ve just single-handedly destroyed my family.”

The following night it emerged that Kylie had briefly gone back to their home in Cairns before returning to the Phillip Island construction site to dump Brad on TV.

“If I gave up we’d leave with nothing so, whatever we get, even if its 10 grand, I’m taking f***ing half of what you get and then I’m leaving your a***, you can keep your f***ing house, and I’m f**king off,” she exploded at him on camera.

“I don’t even know if I’m staying in Cairns to be honest, there’s nothing there for me anymore. You treat your partner like this you can f***ing deal with it.”

When Brad attempted to apologise, Kylie cut him off: “Sorry doesn’t fix anything.”

Meanwhile, Mimi also spoke about the incident on the show, telling producers she believed it had been blown way out of proportion.

“We were just chatting then Kylie went to sleep on the deck next to us,” Mimi said.

“I stayed chatting and maybe there were some comments made that came across as flirty.

“I personally felt comfortable in that situation. All I know is that Kylie woke up and then she went to bed and I think that’s when it started so that’s when I left.”
