Some of Australia’s top bands of the past half-century will break out the guitars and play the classics early next year.
The Red Hot Summer Festival will return to the Gold Coast on February 8 with a line-up headlined by Iva Davies-led 80s rockers Icehouse, best-known for hits like Electric Blue, Can’t Help Myself, Love in Motion, Don’t Believe Anymore and Great Southern Land and Jon Stevens’ Noiseworks, who charted with hits such as No Lies and Take Me Back.
Also on the bill are 90s acts Eskimo Joe, Baby Animals and Bachelor Girl.
Well-known 2000s-era rock acts Killing Heidi and Wolfmother round-out the line-up of the event which will be only open to over-18s.
Pre-sale begins on Wednesday, with general admission on Thursday.
