New photos, video of Hugh Jackman brazenly kissing girlfriend

Hugh Jackman and his new girlfriend Sutton Foster have been accused of rubbing their whirlwind romance “in their former spouses’ faces” after paparazzi photos showed them brazenly kissing for the first time since their secret relationship was exposed.

The Wolverine actor, 56, couldn’t keep his hands off his former co-star, 49, while waiting for drive-through at a San Fernando burger joint last Sunday, just before the Los Angeles fires broke out.

The happy couple, who have been surrounded by affair rumours since starring in the same Broadway musical, were then seen locking lips outside the car.

Hours after the photos were published, Jackman’s ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness, 69, was spotted at the Australian Open in Melbourne.

Furness was all smiles as she watched the first round of the women’s singles at Rod Laver Arena with her teenage daughter Ava. Mother and daughter then posed for photos with Tennis Australia board president Jayne Hrdlicka and former doubles champion Judy Dalton.

Sparks between Jackman and Foster allegedly flew when they appeared together in The Music Man on Broadway between December 2021 and January 2023. They were both married to other people at the time.

In September 2023, Jackman and Furness announced their 27-year marriage was over. In a joint statement, they said: “We have been blessed to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting, and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.”

Foster ended her ten-year marriage to screenwriter Ted Griffin in October last year.

Affair rumours started swirling a month later when fans noticed their close offstage interactions. A source told US Weekly: “Sutton and Hugh’s relationship is the reason Hugh and Deb got divorced.”

“A lot of people on Broadway knew, and we kept it quiet because both of them are so nice and great people. Everyone respected their privacy. But there was an affair and overlap.”

Furness appeared to give weight to the gossip when she liked an Instagram post which said Jackman was “running off with his mistress”.

Fans were shocked by their very public displays of affection, with some saying the situation showed a “total lack of decency, integrity and respect”.

“Hugh should show some respect to his ex-wife,” one social media user said.

Another asked how Jackman’s children, or Foster’s daughter, might feel about their parents’ love interests. “They undoubtedly look happy together but there’s no need to rub it in their former spouses faces,” they said.

Others pointed out both actors were divorced and having a private moment inside a car.

Earlier in January, Jackman supported Foster at her new show in LA, Once Upon a Mattress.

Foster and her ex-husband have one adopted daughter, Emily. Jackman and Furness have two adopted children, Ava and Oscar.
