LEGO villain Kale has been told “there’s no I in Lego” after being slammed for his treatment of Gold Coast teammate Adam ‘Bilsy’ Bilsborough in the opening episode of a Channel 9 show.
Viewers took to social media to express their anger after the Melburnian was seen to belittle Bilsy during the Lego Masters premiere.
In Sunday night’s show Kale and Bilsy’s build, entitled Hope, which was a tall art-decor skyscraper, impressed judge Ryan McNaught but caused tension after Kale, a “brick artist and toy photographer” steamrolled Bilsy’s ideas and “took over” the challenge.

McNaught even reprimanded Kale for not being a team player telling him “there is no I in Lego, Kale”.
In a previous interview with The Gold Coast Bulletin, Mr Bilsborough, 34, from Nerang said he was paired with teammate Kale during the audition process and referred to the partnership as “challenging”.
“I had never met him before so it was hard to bring our different ideas together and learn how to work as a team,” he said.
“It was a fun learning experience but as you can imagine, it is challenging to work with someone you have never met before when people have different visions.
“It was something we had to work through and adapt.”

The show was watched by almost 2.3 million people at its peak viewing, with a national average of about 1.9 million, beating the My Kitchen Rules Grand Final, which was on rival station Channel 7.
It was also the number one program across South East Queensland drawing 311,000 viewers.
McNaught awarded the golden brick — and immunity against elimination — to 17-year-old Matt and his grandmother Lyn, 71, both from Eight Mile Plains.
Brisbane contestant Cade Franklin, and his building partner Henry, from New South Wales, were named runners-up.
Lego Masters is on Channel 9 at 7.30pm Sunday and Mondays.
