It appears Elvis hasn’t quite left the building just yet, with the King returning to grace the stage at an Indigenous health conference.

The King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, reincarnated in the form of Health Minister Mark Butler, has returned.
Appearing before adoring crowds, the (revived) King delivered his rendition of the drumming rock anthem ‘Burning Love’ at the National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation members’ conference in Perth on Thursday.
Not quite a Las Vegas residency.
Butler’s vocals, deep and brashly authoritative, swelled across the conference, rippling with life, as he delivered the final chorus.

“Like the sweet song of a choir,” he crooned.
“You light my morning sky.
“Just a hunk, a hunk of burning love.
“Just a hunk, a hunk of burning love.”
But the health minister, never one to gloat, downplayed his talents.
“I’ve got nothing on the King,” he said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
