Dave Grohl says woman’s viral post about his love child is fake

Dave Grohl has responded after a woman claiming to be the mother of his love child came forward with a baby photo.

Dave Grohl said a woman’s viral Instagram post purportedly showing his love child is fake after admitting he fathered a baby outside of his marriage to Jordyn Blum.

A social media user with the handle @valeriegreyston shared a since-deleted photo Wednesday of a snuggly baby holding a mother’s hand with a lengthy caption claiming the tot belonged to the Foo Fighters frontman.

“My sweet Roxie Junie Grohl, being your mama has already been the most incredible experience of my life,” the post began. “Every day, I fall more in love with you and this new role.”

Dave Grohl’s reps were quick to label this post fake and said the child in this photo is not the rock star’s baby.

The social media user claimed Grohl was “by [her] side through the entire pregnancy,” saying she was “grateful for his love and support.”

And in a detail that shocked fans, she also used the hashtag “#My20thbirthdaygift,” suggesting she had become pregnant at the age of 19.

However, a rep for Grohl, 55, was quick to tell TMZ that the child in the picture was not the rock star’s spawn.

Grohl shocked fans this week when he announced via Instagram that he had welcomed a daughter with a mystery woman who is not his wife of 21 years.

“I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,” he wrote, adding, “I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her.”

The former Nirvana drummer insisted he loves his wife and their three children and is doing everything possible to “regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.”

“We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together,” he added.

Grohl did not share the identity of the woman with whom he had the extramarital affair nor the name of his newborn.

The musician shares daughters Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10, with Blum, 48.

Grohl’s eldest two daughters deactivated their Instagram accounts amid the baby drama, indicating some tension within the family.

He also reportedly hired a divorce lawyer before making the shocking announcement.

The Grammy winner met Blum, a former model, at a West Hollywood, California, bar in 2001, and they tied the knot in August 2003.

The couple appeared to be in high spirits during their last public outing together at a 2024 Wimbledon match in July — two months prior to his big reveal.

However, he seemed on edge at the time, as a resurfaced clip shows Grohl snapping at an interviewer at the tennis event.

Last month, Blum was spotted without her wedding ring on as she and her husband stepped out in Los Angeles.
