JAKE Gyllenhaal and Tilda Swinton are two of the most recognisable faces in the movie business — but you could barely tell who they were when they were filming on the streets of New York recently.
Gyllenhaal, 35, and Swinton, 55, both star in the upcoming South Korean-American science fiction horror monster film Okja, due for release next year.
Swinton is no stranger to reinvention — for her supporting role in last year’s hit comedy Trainwreck, the often androgynous actor used a wig and make-up to transform herself into a glamazon magazine editor.
She’s gone for another extreme look in Okja, with a blonde bob, flower in her hair and pink coat a world away from her less girlish real-life look. Dare we say it, she’s got more than a touch of Taylor Swift to her.
Gyllenhaal seemed to be relishing his role in the film, entertaining the crowds while clad in shorts, a blazer and hat, with an oh-so-70s moustache to boot.
