Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick are bringing the toys to life in Trolls, a DreamWorks animation out in November.
Yesterday the pair, who voice the two main characters in the film performed a version of Cyndi Lauper’s True Colors at the Cannes Film Festival.
“We are Anna and Garfunkel,” Timberlake joked as he introduced the pair. “Okay, we are going to give this a go but you guys have to be nice, okay?”
Kendrick amitted she was nervous about the performance.
“This isn’t like a big deal,” she quipped. “We’re just hanging out in your living room and this isn’t a big deal, right?”
Timberlake made the surprising revelation he didn’t own any trolls – but he did have a Cabbage Patch Kids doll.
Gwen Stefani, James Corden, Russell Brand and Zooey Deschanel will also voice characters in the film which hits US theatres in November.
Timberlake will be performing at Eurovision this weekend.
