Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi to star in Emerald Fennell’s adaptation of Wuthering Heights

Aussie superstars Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi are set to become love interests in the latest adaptation of Wuthering Heights.
The Emily Bronte classic will once again be adapted by to the big screen but this time with Oscar-winning director Emerald Fennell putting her spin on the gothic romance novel.
Fennell teased back in July she was interested in making the movie, posting on X – formally Twitter – the line: “Be With Me Always. Take Any Form. Drive Me Mad.”
Robbie and Elordi have now been confirmed in the lead roles of Catherine Earnshaw and the troubled Heathcliff.

While details are yet to be announced, Robbie’s production company LuckyChap has signed on to produce Fennell’s film.
LuckyChap shared the Deadline announcement on its social media, confirming Robbie and Elordi signed on to the project on Tuesday.
The 1850 novel focuses on the passionate and turbulent love between Catherine and Heathcliff, which unravels them both psychologically and destroys their families.
This will be the third time Robbie and Fennell have worked together, with the Barbie star producing both of Fennell’s previous films Saltburn and Promising Young Woman.
Elordi is also no stranger to Fennell’s film history, having starred in the 2023 Saltburn hit.
Fennell is set to write, direct and produce the latest Bronte adaptation, with pre-production already under way ahead of a UK shoot in 2025.
