Met Gala 2021: Best and worst dressed on the red carpet

The Kiwi singer dared to bare at the 2021 Met Gala - here are the best, worst and wildest fashions from the celeb world’s craziest red carpet.

Met Gala 2021: Best looks

It’s easily the most outrageous event on the celebrity calendar – and after a year off due to Covid, the Met Gala is back, bigger and even more OTT than ever before.

Held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, this year’s theme is In America: A Lexicon of Fashion (a nod to US designers) and is hosted by co-chairs Timothée Chalamet, Billie Eilish, Amanda Gorman, and Naomi Osaka.

Some of the biggest names in Hollywood descended on the steps of the Met today for the “Super Bowl of Fashion”, including a regal-looking Lorde, who wore a crown and satin jewelled suit.

The New Zealand singer also boldly chose to go braless for the event.
