A part-time male model, fashion brand manager and operations manager are three of the Gold Coast’s most eligible singles set to light up the screen in the latest season of Married At First Sight.
Mitch Eynaud from Broadbeach, Samantha Moitzi from Burleigh Heads and Merrimac’s Tamara Djordjevic will appear in the hit reality TV series.
The show follows complete strangers as they marry each other in a wild social experiment guided by relationship experts in a bid to find “the one”.
Ms Moitzi has been described on the show as a “determined woman who knows what she wants” – with the ambitious, confident and self-sufficient stunner looking for an older man to capture her heart.
“A lot of influencers and beautiful men and women live on the Gold Coast that are quite shallow - it’s hard to find down to earth people,” she told the Bulletin.
“I feel like there’s a lot of attractive people on the Gold Coast, so already you’re faced with a lot of competition.
“The older men either have baggage or they’re taken, or they’re single but one of your friends has dated them.”
The fashion brand manager said Burleigh Pavilion, Apres Surf and Instagram were her go-to places to look for a date.
Fellow Gold Coaster Mitch Eynaud agreed the Burleigh Pavilion was the best hot spot for singles, along with Justin Lane and The Star.
The financial planner and part-time model is never short of attention from women, admitting he’s never spent “more than two consecutive nights with a girl” in his life.
Instead of a social life of clubs and events, Mitch is an introvert who enjoys his own company.
In his down time you’ll find him fishing and camping with a couple of mates.
“I find that there are a lot of materialistic people on the Gold Coast. I just can’t seem to find the right person,” he said.
“I use Instagram to share photos and message my close friends, but I have never been a part of the influencer thing.”
