Two MAFS stars have been caught on camera engaging in a flirty act under the table, as details of their looming cheating scandal emerge.

There’s been rumblings of a Married At First Sight cheating scandal set to rock the televised experiment for days now.

And viewers got their first look at an impending betrayal during Wednesday’s explosive dinner party, with some dubious under-the-table footsie action between two rogue stars.

Sierah, who is married to Billy, and Adrian, who is married to Awhina, were busted by cameras getting touchy-feely in grainy footage while all hell broke loose over the oral sex saga involving Jacqui and her husband Ryan.

The seeds have officially been planted for the obligatory couple swap of the season.

Here’s what we know.

While both Sierah and Adrian instantly connected with their individual matches, both having already been intimate with their respective spouses, cracks in their marriages have begun to show over the past week, with Sierah feeling Billy has stalled their sexual connection.

Meanwhile, Adrian has struggled to accept Awhina is a mother, openly admitting he’d find it difficult to accept her child as his own.

Adrian is paired with Awhina on MAFS.

And Billy is with Sierah.

Speaking to TV Week ahead of this week’s dinner party, Billy said had no idea of the footsie moment, despite sitting next to his wife at the time, but added he had an inkling something was awry.

“I had no idea that [footsies] happened,” he told the publication. “I did, however, know there was something going on between them.”

“Awhina and I weren’t happy. We signed up to be with our partners and when we watched them getting closer, it wasn’t nice. It was very difficult to watch. I felt a bit sad.

“The last thing I thought when I packed up my life for this experiment would be my partner maybe having a connection with somebody else.”

Sierah and Adrian were seen being overtly friendly at the dinner party this week.

Sierah attempted to connect with Billy during intimacy week, though her husband struggled given their lack of emotional connection.

Finally, Billy suggested things are set to blow up once Adrian and Sierah’s behaviour emerges.

“It was a betrayal. It’s not something I agreed with and it’s not something the rest of the group agreed with,” he said.

Further, Adrian utterly lambasted Awhina during confessions week last week, with the young mum admitting to having made a “mistake” by cheating in a relationship several years ago.

“The reason why I reacted that way is because I felt like she was giving a lot of ‘buts’ and I don’t really think there’s any excuse for cheating,” Adrian said in a piece-to-camera during the episode.

“I understand it was a long time ago, but I just think there’s no excuse for it in my books.”

Married At First Sight continues Sunday on Channel 9 at 7pm
