Logies 2019: Julia Morris lost on the way to the Logies

This popular comedian and Logie nominee got lost on the way to the Gold Coast in hilarious comedy of errors — but that is not the worst of it.

SERIAL jokester and TV presenter Julia Morris has taken to the Twitterverse this morning to share her panic, after she allegedly discovered the Logies were not taking place in Melbourne — and that wasn’t her only issue.

While other celebrities spent the day lazing on the Gold Coast’s sunny beaches or enjoying the restaurants it had to offer before getting ready, Morris woke to a few dramas.

Filming from a Melbourne hotel room last night Morris who is nominated for Most Popular Presenter revealed her horror at a pimple which had sprouted on her lip.

“You can pull up a big pimple on your lip for the big night,” she laughed into the camera.

“I think I am going to leave it, and then as I press the flesh with all the famous people on the red carpet I am going to have a Russian roulette of who I am going to burst on.”

Sunday morning Morris’s luck ran out further as she discovered the Logies were being held on the Gold Coast, not Melbourne where she had planned to spend the day prepping.

“Hi guys thanks so much for telling me the Logies are not in Melbourne they are actually on the Gold Coast,” she said in her social media video.

“ I think what I need to do is probably pack my entire bag and head to the Gold Coast.

“I’ve gotta go, f**k”

Adorned in figure hugging undies and bra the host of I’m a Celebrity, Blind Date and Chris & Julia’s Sunday Night Takeaway updated fans while furiously brushing her hair.

“I have been on the phone booked myself a flight, on my way to the Gold Coast.....if my lungs don’t explode on the way there.”

“I probably should have kept that robe on.”

Morris did eventually land on the Glitter Strip at 1pm this afternoon after uploading many panicked updates.

In her final video to worried fans, Morris assures she had also found a makeup artist on the Gold Coast willing to help her with her pimple issue.

“She’s got cover, hopefully she has got a trowel.”
