‘Legally single’: New twist in Kim and Kanye’s divorce as rapper shares disturbing video

A judge has made a major decision in Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s bitter divorce case, as the rapper released a disturbing new video.

Kim Kardashian’s marriage to Kanye West has officially ended, with a Los Angeles judge finalising her divorce from the rapper now known as Ye.

It came as the Famous rapper released a video in which he buried Kardashian’s boyfriend, SNL comedian Pete Davidson – in a move dubbed “disturbing” and “bizarre” online.

Kardashian, 41, appeared before the court virtually while West, 44, was represented by his lawyer, who brought no objection to the end of the marriage.

West had publicly fought the separation, including with social media pleas asking Kardashian to reconcile.

Kardashian filed for divorce last year after months of speculation about the state of their marriage, and as Ye battled with mental health issues.

“I very much desire to be divorced,” Kardashian wrote in a declaration filed to the court last week.

“I have asked Kanye to keep our divorce private, but he has not done so,” Kardashian added.

“I believe that the court terminating our marital status will help Kanye to accept that our marital relationship is over and to move forward on a better path which will assist us in peacefully co-parenting our children.”

The couple have four children: North, 8, Saint, 6, daughter Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2.

Meantime, West raised eyebrows with the release of a new music video for the song Eazy, which depicts him, in animated form, kidnap

ping and burying Davidson.

The lyrics to Eazy include: “God saved me from that crash just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s ass”.

The video finishes with the message: “Everyone livd happily ever after … except Skete (West’s nickname for Davidson). JK he’s fine.”

Kim and Kanye, who began dating in 2012 and married in a lavish ceremony in Italy two years later, rapidly became one of the world’s most instantly recognisable couples.

But their marriage ran into trouble with reports of bizarre outbursts from West who has bipolar disorder.

In 2020, the mercurial entertainment mogul launched a bid for the US presidency with a rambling speech in which he revealed shocking personal details about his daughter, and broke down in tears.

He also posted tweets that accused his wife and mother-in-law of trying to lock him up.

Kardashian has previously called on the media and public to show “compassion and empathy” over her husband’s erratic behaviour.

It is the first divorce for Ye and the third for Kardashian, who came to fame with the US reality TV series Keeping Up with the Kardashians which followed the lives of her family members in Los Angeles.

Last August, West filed to legally change his name to his longtime nickname “Ye,” saying it was for “personal reasons.”

The former couple, known as “Kimye”, began dating while Kardashian was going through divorce proceedings with second husband Kris Humphries.

Kardashian is now in a relationship with Saturday Nigh Live comedian Davidson, 28, and will debut her family’s new reality series The Kardashians on Disney+ in April.
