Cuoco, who has been acting since she was a child, was earning $US1 million per episode for Big Bang Theory by 2014. The show was on the air from 2007-2019.

Her estranged husband, 30, is the son of Scott Cook, who founded the tax software company Intuit and is estimated by Forbes to be worth $7.9 billion.

Cuoco, 35, filed for divorce on Friday, the same day the couple confirmed to Page Six they’re going their separate ways after three years of marriage.

“Despite a deep love and respect for one another, we have realised that our current paths have taken us in opposite directions,” they said in a joint statement. “We have both shared so much of our journey publicly so while we would prefer to keep this aspect of our personal life private, we wanted to be forthcoming in our truth together. There is no anger or animosity, quite the contrary.
