Justin Bieber has changed up his fashion game … but it still makes no sense

Bieber has been spotted out again and his fashion photos expose a wider trend that Hollywood loves.

Justin Bieber has been spotted out with his wife Hailey Bieber and this time the couple aren’t mismatched, they are dressed exactly the same.

She’s wearing jeans and a white T-shirt; he is wearing jeans and a white T-shirt. They look less like a couple and more like each other’s stunt doubles.

The only difference in their outfits is that Bieber is wearing a denim jacket and she’s wearing a leather one.

If this is Bieber’s response to the online criticism that he needs to step up his fashion game, and stop looking like a troubled youth on A Current Affair – he has officially overcorrected.

Recently, Justin and Hailey have become a meme on the internet because they are constantly spotted at the same places together while looking dressed for separate occasions.

Hailey will rock up wearing a tight red dress, and Justin will turn up in sweats. She’ll look like she’s about to step on the runway, and he’ll look dressed to go graffiti public property.

It is hilarious and confusing, but now he finally got the memo and has decided to start cosplaying as his wife.

Okay, he has almost got the memo.

Instead of wearing something nice, like maybe a shirt with buttons, he has decided to wear whatever his wife is wearing.

It has become evident we may never understand Bieber’s fashion choices, and honestly, we don’t want to.

What is the point of famous people if they aren’t fun and confusing to look at? I don’t understand why Guy Sebestian has fallen in love with fedoras but I like that it is a thing.

Interestingly, Justin isn’t the only person dressing like his wife or vice versa. It’s actually part of a broader and confusing Hollywood trend that we didn’t ask for but we got … kinda like Transformers 3.

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have been dressing the same since they got together. Koutrney ditched her more neutral tone fashion to become a girl at the rock show. Now the pair will step out wearing band T-shirts and matching leather jackets.

It is very funny when you consider there’s only a very small chance Kourtney has listened to the band whose merch she’s wearing.

Similarly, Victoria and David Beckham’s son Brooklyn Beckham often dresses like his billionaire heiress wife, Nicola Peltz-Beckham.

Their approach is more subtle, but often, he’ll wear a colour to tie in with whatever she is wearing.

The vibe is very much he has been told to complement her but absolutely not upstage her and they usually pull it off.

The point is that Justin and Hailey aren’t the only famous couple wandering around dressed like twins.

Is it ideal? No.

Is it a thing? Yes.

I guess we should just be grateful that Justin isn’t wearing two head coverings at a nice restaurant again.
