90s actor Jon Voight has been spotted out and about with a younger woman amid reports daughter Angelina Jolie has ceased all contact.

Angelina Jolie’s estranged father Jon Voight, 85, has been spotted out and about enjoying an ice cream cone while chatting with a young woman.

It marks Voight’s first appearance in public since it emerged Jolie is believed to have cut of all contact with him.

“Despite previous attempts at reconciliation, Jon’s loose lips have pushed Angie to cut off communication once more. He just can’t help himself,” a source told OK! Magazine.

“Angie has made it very clear she doesn’t want him talking about her private life – but he keeps opening his big mouth.”

The pair has had a tumultuous relationship in recent years, and it’s only been worsened by their stances on the Israel/Gaza conflict.

He supports Israel, specifically after the country responded to Hamas’ October 7th attacks.

However, Jolie, a longtime refugee activist, remains outspoken about the devastation in Gaza.

“She has been exposed to propaganda,” Voight said during an interview with Variety last month.

“She’s been influenced by antisemitic people. Angie has a connection to the U.N, and she’s enjoyed speaking out for refugees. But these people are not refugees,” he said.

“Angie, I think she hasn’t been available to this information because in Hollywood people don’t share this kind of stuff. They’re way off. They have no idea what’s going on. It’s a bubble.”

In the same interview, he went on to share why he has yet to reconcile with Jolie.

”It’s hard for me to talk to her about this,” he said. “She doesn’t really want to share this kind of stuff, because she’s of another mind about it.”

“I love my daughter – that’s No. 1. I am happy when Angie is happy,” he said while holding back tears.

“When she’s having a tough time, I’m having a tough time. When she is down, I’m down.”

A source close to Jolie told Variety that “Angelina wishes him well but does not speak about him publicly.”

Jolie and Voight have had their fair share of issues over the years. The Lara Croft actress was reportedly upset that her father cheated on her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, during their marriage. The couple divorced in 1980 when Jolie was 5 years old.

Bertrand died in 2007 at age 56.
