Jennifer Lawrence’s text to Taylor Swift: ‘You is a badass bitch’

IF anyone should be called a “badass”, it’s Jennifer Lawrence. But the Oscar-winner says Taylor Swift is worthy of the title, and sent her a text message to say so.

IF anyone should be called a “badass” in Hollywood, it’s Jennifer Lawrence.

She’s made a career out of playing heroine Katniss in The Hunger Games franchise and Mystique in X-Men.
But for Jennifer Lawrence, Taylor Swift is the ultimate “badass”.

Lawrence, 24, said she texted Swift after reading her “to Apple, love Taylor” open letter, which defended the rights of artists to be paid during Apple Music’s three-month free trial.

Don’t mess with Taylor Swift.

JLaw texted Tay Tay after her open letter to Apple.

“Taylor Swift is a badass,” Lawrence told Extra.

“That letter she wrote about Apple … I texted her and was like, ‘You is a badass bitch.’ She’s awesome.

“She’s a lot more well spoken than I am.”

Swift penned an open letter to Apple, posted on her Tumblr blog, calling the tech giant’s move not to pay artists for three months during its free Apple Music trial was “shocking, disappointing, and completely unlike this historically progressive and generous company”.

“This is not about me. Thankfully I am on my fifth album and can support myself, my band, crew, and entire management team by playing live shows,” Swift wrote.

“This is about the new artist or band that has just released their first single and will not be paid for its success.”

Apple eventually backflipped and agreed to fork out to artists.

Yep, Taylor Swift is definitely a “badass”.
