GOLD Coast’s sporting royalty Courtney Hancock has announced her long-awaited engagement to Australian cricketer Nick Buchanan.

The son of former Australian coach John Buchanan appears to have dropped a knee in front of his partner of six years, 33, in the lead up to Christmas while on a recent trip to Noosa.

The striking couple took to social media on Thursday evening to share the exciting news with their combined 22,000-plus Instagram followers.
