Insane details of Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz’s wedding

Their families have a combined wealth of almost $3 billion - so no expense has been spared for Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz’s wedding.

Brooklyn Beckham has begun his three-day, $5 million wedding spectacular — which is set to eclipse even his parents’ famous 1999 Golden Thrones nuptials.

David and Victoria’s eldest, 23, and Nicola Peltz, 27, will tie the knot today on the bride’s family’s $130 million beachside estate in Palm Beach, Miami.

The Sun can reveal the couple are to have a double wedding, with two ceremonies marking the separate faiths of Nicola’s parents. One will be Catholic, a nod to mum Claudia, and the other Jewish, for her dad Nelson.

Aspiring chef Brooklyn — who has said he will wear a skullcap, or yarmulke — is also going to take Nicola’s surname as his middle name.

He was seen arriving last night — along with his parents and his little sister Harper, ten.

The festivities began with a rehearsal dinner, set to be attended by many of the celeb guests. As is traditional, Brooklyn and actress Nicola will part ways afterwards and not see each other until today, when no expense has been spared.

The 300 guests will be treated to limitless $350 bottles of Bollinger champagne and cordon bleu grub, with almost $90,000 spent on rare orchids to decorate the tables.

And the famously canny Beckhams will not pay a penny as mega-loaded financier Nelson, 79, has insisted on covering the whole event.

His $2.2 billion fortune dwarfs the Beckhams’ $660 million worth.

Victoria’s ex-Spice Girl bandmate Mel B has confirmed she is going while Emma Bunton and Mel C have also been invited to the celebrity wedding of the year.

However Geri Horner has instead flown to Melbourne to support Red Bull-owning husband Christian at this weekend’s Grand Prix.

Chef Gordon Ramsay and family were already there, though the Beckhams’ offer for him to do the food was turned down by Nelson, who has commissioned caterers from Miami.

Rumours were also swirling last night that pop superstar Bruno Mars has been lined up as a secret special act while rapper Snoop Dogg is also said to be performing.

Latino star Marc Anthony will sing while DJ Fat Tony is set to hit the decks. Other guests include actress Eva Longoria, while Prince Harry and Meghan have also been rumoured to be flying in from their LA home.

A ring of steel has been formed around three marquees on the estate, with a police car guarding a beach entrance half a mile away yesterday. A security helicopter has also been seen circling the area.

A white dress, believed to be Nicola’s custom-made Valentino wedding frock, was seen being transported on a golf cart yesterday. Fashion bible Vogue is releasing two live pictures on the big day before a cover shoot for July’s edition.

As well as unlimited amounts of Bollinger, cocktails will flow at a free bar until carriages arrive at 1am.

Meanwhile, residents in Palm Beach revealed almost $90,000 had been spent on 400 orchids. Hundreds of dollars of white hydrangeas and green cymbidiums were also bought from Flowers of Worth Avenue — one of Nicola’s favourite florists.

Last month, she, Brooklyn and her brother Brad, 32, bought 500 red roses from there for her mum Claudia’s birthday — costing around $7,000. A friend told The Sun: “It’s a daft sum of money to pay for orchids — that’s more than the average salary of Brits in the UK.

“But money’s no object for the Beckhams and the Peltzes even more so. The orchids and most of the other flowers are thought to have been ordered in from another area.

“But it was really sweet of Nicola to think of Flowers of Worth Avenue.

“It’s a small, local shop and the people there are a lovely bunch.”

David and fashion designer Victoria are believed to have arrived at the Peltzes’ mansion yesterday afternoon in a black McLaren car.

This weekend will bring back memories of their own wedding in July 1999, when they tied the knot at a $1.3m Robin Hood-themed bash at Luttrellstown Castle in Dublin.

David, in a white suit, and Victoria, wearing a $175,000 Vera Wang gown, sat on golden thrones at the do, with the four-month-old Brooklyn in attendance.

More recently, ex-England football ace David, 46, has been spending time with son Romeo in Miami, where he owns a football team.

Romeo, 19, was seen with his girlfriend Mia Regan on his dad’s yacht, Seven, but it left the area early yesterday morning.

Brooklyn was seen looking downbeat on Thursday in a golf buggy with pals while Nicola treated herself to a massage in the week.

Brooklyn, who has revealed he will probably cry on the big day as he is emotional, has signed a prenup.

The couple began dating in October 2019 and Brooklyn proposed with a $600,000 diamond ring in July 2020.
