Hugh Jackman has broken his silence following the official filing of his divorce papers, posting a clip of himself dancing to an NSYNC hit after Deborra-Lee Furness spoke of his “betrayal.”

Hugh Jackman has been seemingly unperturbed by soon-to-be ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness speaking about the “profound wound” he gave her in a scathing take-down, posting videos of himself performing to NSYNC’s Bye Bye Bye.

Hours after Furness, 69, publicly commented on his “traumatic betrayal”, Jackman, 56, shared a video to his 31 million Instagram followers.

The videos show the Wolverine actor on stage at Radio City Music Hall where he has been selling out his show From New York with Love.

After nailing the difficult skipping choreography set to the 2000s pop song, he turns to his cast mate and hugs her.

“FINALLY,” Jackman wrote of the achievement.

He also shared a still shot from the routine on his stories with the same music.

Furness filed for divorce in a New York court on Friday, beginning the process of officially ending their 27 year union.

She gave a statement on the divorce to Mail Online.

“My heart and compassion goes out to everyone who has traversed the traumatic journey of betrayal,” she said.

“It’s a profound wound that cuts deep, however I believe in a higher power and that God/the universe, whatever you relate to as your guidance, is always working FOR us.”

She continued: “This belief has helped me navigate the breakdown of an almost three-decade marriage. I have gained much knowledge and wisdom through this experience.

“Even when we are presented with apparent adversity, it is leading us to our greatest good, our true purpose.

“It can hurt, but in the long run, returning to yourself and living within your own integrity, values and boundaries is liberation and freedom.”

Furness said she had taken wisdom from the situation.

“We are drawn to people, we invite them in, in order to learn our lessons and to recognise and heal the broken parts of ourselves,” she said.

The former couple share two adopted children: Oscar, 25, and Ava. 19.

Reports are circulating that Jackman’s new girlfriend, Broadway star Sutton Foster, has been slowly moving her belongings into the New York penthouse he previously shared with Furness.
