Hollywood actor Adrian Grenier has been spotted enjoying the Australian winter in Byron Bay with his family and a local soap star.

The 48-year-old, best known for his role as Vincent Chase in the HBO series Entourage, has been photographed having a day out at a local park with his wife Jordan Roemmele and their one-year-old son Seiko.

In an unlikely friendship, former Neighbours actress Stephanie McIntosh was also present during the outing, along with her two daughters.

McIntosh, who starred as Sky Mangel on the soap from 2003 to 2007, is the half sister of Aussie actor Jason Donovan.

Grenier is visiting down under to film scenes for his upcoming YouTube documentary, Earth Speed.

The Devil Wears Prada actor has largely retreated from the spotlight, and now lives on a remote farm in Texas after ditching Hollywood during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.

In a 2021 interview with Austin Life magazine, Grenier revealed he put Los Angeles and New York behind him so he could pursue farming.

“I bought a place in Austin five years ago and a year ago I decided to move here permanently,” Grenier told the publication.

“I had friends here, I ran a business here, and liked the pace. Austin is cosmopolitan without being snooty; it’s earthy. People are smart and successful but they don’t flaunt it.”

Further opening up about his decision to step back from acting, with Grenier last appearing in the TV movie Cipher in 2022, said he felt his high-flying lifestyle contradicted his conservation ethics.

“I have been doing environmental work for the last 20 years, I’ve started organisations and run non-profits, all designed to tell people to live more in line with nature – and yet, I wasn’t living that way,” Grenier explained.

“In many ways, I reached the apex of that promise – if you work hard, you become famous, then you make a lot of money … but it was lacklustre at the top.”

Grenier was plucked from obscurity when he landed the lead part in the Mark Wahlberg produced series Entourage, which first aired in 2004 and ran for eight seasons until 2011, with the cast reuniting for a film in 2015.
