Some of the turn of the millennium’s hottest acts will rock out on the Gold Coast in March next year at an all-ages gig aimed at family’s young and old.
The Hello Sunshine festival will be the first held outside of Melbourne and will feature acts including Smash Mouth, Stone Temple Pilots, Kasey Chambers, Rogue Traders and Wolfmother delivering all the hits.
The concert, will be held in the Southport Broadwater Parklands on March 8.
For the Stone Temple Pilots, it will be there first Australian show in more than 20 years.
Smash Mouth, famous for their track All Star and a string over other hits, said in a statement it was looking forward to playing on the Gold Coast.
“Australia has got to be one of the coolest places to play,” the statement reads.
“The people there know how to party! We are so excited to head back to Australia to perform at the Hello Sunshine Festival in March. It’s going to be amazing. Summertime! Outdoor Festival! Australia! Yes please.”
Other acts to play at the gig will be Whistle and Trick, Drapht, and Lenny Pearce.
Children’s character Bluey will also perform and song and dance show, while meeting with fans.
The first festival was held in Melbourne in 2023 and featured Amy Shark and The Cat Empire while this year’s was headlined by Grinspoon and the Veronicas.
Tickets will go on sale at 9am on September 6.
