Harry Potter stars James and Oliver Phelps to visit Gold Coast for Movieworld quiz show

Organisers of a Harry Potter quiz show have revealed their new tour dates – including when two of the franchise’s stars will be on the Gold Coast.

TWO Harry Potter stars are set to visit the Gold Coast later this year after organisers of a new quiz show revealed new tour dates and venues.

James and Oliver Phelps, who rose to fame playing the Weasley twins in the popular franchise, will headline the upcoming Quiz Show of Magic and Wizards in Coomera.

The event, originally planned for earlier this month, has now been moved to Movie World on October 26 amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

“We’re really excited to be coming back (to Queensland),” Oliver told media earlier this year.

“I actually remember how welcoming everyone was down on the Gold Coast, everyone was so friendly so it’s nice to be coming back.”

Fans will be given the chance for a Q&A session with the actors before the quiz begins, with prizes also on offer for the best-dressed.

It isn’t the first time the pair have visited the Gold Coast, having been special guests at the Gold Coast Film Festival for the premiere of the final Harry Potter movie in 2012.
