A GOLD Coast radio star has pulled off the rare feat of being in two places at once.
Gold 92.5 radio host and Nine News weather presenter Luke Bradnam was heading back from a live cross to get to the 31st Australian Commercial Radio (ACRAs) last night when his name was called for the Best Station Produced Comedy Segment award.
But his twin brother Ashley, who is also a radio host for Nova, cheekily stepped up to accept his award.

“The weather finished and I was bolting back to get to the awards before my award was up in case I had won,” Luke Bradnam told the Bulletin this morning.
“When my name was called out, Ashley, my identical twin got up and accepted as me. When I got there, Ashley was posing on the red carpet with my trophy. That’s how I knew I’d won.
“He sees me and goes ‘You’ve won, you’ve won’. And I’m like spewing because that I missed it. I was so pissed off but it was pretty funny.
“Nobody knew the difference and he posed for all the photos and did the interviews as me.”
It isn’t the first time this has happened.
“We were down at Melbourne once and I was nominated and I won my first comedy one and I’m like ‘Thank god, I’ve finally won’,” Luke said.
“I’m on my way up to accept the award and Ashley’s already up accepting it for me.
“It’s happened about three or four times now.
“It’s something he’s always done. Whenever I win, he just gets up and takes the award for me.
“We’d be the only identical twins in radio. We’re the only ones who could get away with it. It’s pretty unique.”
