Ilana Collins acted as the stunt double to Elsa Pataky, Chris Hemsworth’s wife, in upcoming Netflix series Tidelands.

Collins was required to take the blows in fight scenes, carry around fully grown men and take care of the water scenes, but it wasn’t until she was asked to be Pataky’s lingerie body double that she freaked out a little.

“I was doing fight scenes, crash tackling, heaps of stunt assist work and a lot of water work,” she said.

“The most intimidating thing was when they said ‘We might be looking at using you for her lingerie scenes’.

“I just thought ‘No way, she’s a babe, I couldn’t do that’.”

Collins was filming at Stradbroke Island alongside Spanish actress and model Pataky in May for the highly anticipated series, which is expected to be released in December.

She said Hemsworth, who was last month announced as the fourth highest paid actor in Hollywood, would drop in via chopper to support his wife on set.

“Chris came to the set a couple of times to see how everything was going,” Collins said.

“He flew over to Stradbroke on helicopter and brought the kids.

“They’re both so lovely and definitely as happy as they seem but they’ve got a pretty great life. How could you not be happy?”

Collins trained at Hollywood’s renowned 87Eleven Stunt Academy, which designed the action scenes for blockbusters Atomic Blonde with Scarlett Johansson, Deadpool 2 with Ryan Reynolds, Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic World and The Hunger Games Mockingjay with Jennifer Lawrence.

At the end of the year she will begin producing and acting in a film alongside stunt co-ordinator Keir Beck, who has worked on blockbusters Hacksaw Ridge, Mad Max, Jupiter Ascending and Pirates of the Caribbean.
