A ONETIME frozen daiquiri company boss known for throwing lavish parties has taken over a Surfers Paradise strip club and is offering free limo pick-ups for patrons.
Jimmy ‘Vegas’ Seoud, whose former business Daiquiri King supplied alcoholic slurpees in Melbourne and Tasmania, is the new co-owner of Toybox Showgirls.
He started running the Surfers Paradise Boulevard club late last month. Along with “silent partners”, he bought the venue — a Glitter Strip fixture for decades — off previous owners who had run it for 11 years.
Seoud said a $500,000 renovation of the two-storey club and facade was planned early next year.

His new branded limousine pick-up service is free from Mermaid Beach to Southport. The Toybox limo is “booked out” Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. A second is being branded up and he is contemplating a third due to demand.
Seoud has relocated to Surfers Paradise to run the club and 40 staff, which includes 28 strippers. He has kept on longtime Toybox manager Tarra McLean.

“A lot of the clientele coming to us don’t want to be around the younger kids partying in central Surfers. We tend to get the older men coming to us,” he said.
“I’ve been coming to Surfers Paradise for 25 years. Everyone knows me. I’m social and fun — and if you want to get the party started, I’m the one to come and see.”
His 40th in Melbourne made the Herald Sun social pages, turning a city theatre into a mini casino with “dancing girls, long legs and big bosoms as far as the eye could see” according to a report at the time.
Hollywood Showgirls owner Craig Duffy was brief when asked about the strip club newcomer: “It’s all good.”
Asked to elaborate, Mr Duffy added: “This coffee’s great.”
