Eve Jobs makes big modelling move as she attends Paris Fashion Week

Eve Jobs, the daughter of Apple co-founder Steve, has announced a big move of her own, as she sits among celebrities at Paris Fashion Week.

How Apple Became the World’s Most Valuable Publicly Traded Company

Eve Jobs, the daughter of late tech mogul Steve Jobs, was among celebrities sitting front row at the Louis Vuitton show at Paris Fashion Week on Thursday.

And coinciding with her appearance was the announcement that the 23-year-old has signed with New York-based agency DNA Model Management, which represents famous American models Emily Ratajkowski and Kaia Gerber.

“DNA is thrilled to announce we are representing Eve Jobs. The young Californian is an accomplished equestrian and Stanford graduate, and we are very excited to help her launch her auspicious modelling career,” the agency wrote in a statement.

Eve made her runway debut at Paris Fashion Week for Coperni in September last year.

The year before she had her first major modelling gig posing for beauty brand Glossier’s holiday campaign.

Other celebrities at the Louis Vuitton show this year included actresses Julianne Moore, Emma Stone, Sarah Paulson, Elizabeth Reaser, Chloë Grace Moretz, Cynthia Erivo, Jennifer Connelly, Laura Harrier, Chiara Mastroianni and Catherine Deneuve.

Eve’s father died aged 56 in 2011 after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The co-founder of Apple passed his billion dollar fortune to Eve’s mum, successful investor Laurene Powell Jobs.

While Laurene was ranked as the 95th richest person in the world on Forbes’ 2021 list and said to be worth around $A26 billion, the Jobs children have been told they need to make their own money.

Laurene told The New York Times in 2020: “I inherited my wealth from my husband, who didn’t care about the accumulation of wealth.

“I’m not interested in legacy wealth buildings, and my children know that. Steve wasn’t interested in that. If I live long enough, it ends with me.”

She may not be set to hand her kids billions of dollars, but that’s not to say Laurene won’t do everything she can to give Eve the step up she needs for success.

In 2016 she bought a luxury $A19m, 3.5 acre ranch in winter horse riding capital Wellington, Florida, where accomplished show jumper Eve can train, complete with an airconditioned barn big enough for 20 horses and a showjumping rink.

The sprawling property also boasts four bedrooms, five bathrooms and a 12 metre pool.
