Dawn French looks unrecognisable after chopping her hair off.
The 63-year-old comedian recently ditched her brown bob for short cropped look – and fans are loving the fact she’s embracing her natural colour.
Dawn looked completely different as she shared a picture of her new look with her 227k followers on Instagram.
She’s compared herself to a very well-known American actress that has starred in the likes of Freaky Friday and Halloween.
But her husband pointed out similarities to Anne Hegarty from the popular TV game show The Chase.
Dawn told fans: “Hair update. I’m going for it big time. Chop chop. Bring on the silver. In my head, it’s v Jamie Lee Curtis. Husband says it’s actually v Anne Hegerty. Don’t care …. Both are ruddy KWEEEENS.”
Fans rushed to the comments section to compliment her look.
One wrote: “Oh god it’s totally gorgeous I love it.”
Another said: “You are rocking it girl.”
A third chimed in: “Looking beautiful – go the full grey!”
A fourth added: “Gorgeous colour.”
Back in June, Dawn revealed an extreme hair transformation, describing her new look as the “real me”.
The actress announced she was embracing going grey as she showed off her freshly styled undercut.
Dawn had a huge smile on her face as she shared pictures of her head turning hairstyle on social media.
The first image showed a light shade of brown instead of her usual dark locks, before the second revealed a salt and pepper grey undercut.
On Instagram she captioned the snaps: “Going lighter bit by bit to happily welcome the grey … with an undercut surprise..!
“Hello there woman in her 60s….”
