Controversial comedian Dave Chappelle has gone viral after giving a hilarious reason he claims he wasn’t invited to Diddy’s ‘freak-off’ sex parties.

Dave Chappelle has claimed he was none the wiser about Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ alleged sex parties — because he wasn’t good looking enough to garner an invite.

The controversial comedian, guest hosting Saturday Night Live for his fourth time, weighed in on the disgraced rapper in his opening monologue.

Chappelle, 51, joked that he had been fielding questions from friends about how he did not know what Combs had allegedly been up to at his drug-fuelled sex parties known as “freak-offs”.

“My friends asked, they said, ‘Dave, did you know anything about those freak-off parties?’” he said.

Chappelle’s wild reaction to Diddy ‘freak offs’

“I’d be like, ‘Nah man. I didn’t know anything about the freak-offs.’

“They’d be like, ‘Well how are all these people you know at the freak-off but you’re the only one that wasn’t at the freak-off?’ And I thought about it for a minute and I thought, ‘Oh my gosh. I’m ugly.’

“That’s a tough way to find that out.”

Chappelle said he reckoned he wasn’t invited because he has “snitch energy”.

Combs, 55, is currently in jail at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn awaiting trial for sex trafficking, racketeering and prostitution, to which he has pleaded not guilty.

Prosecutors claim the Bad Boy Records founder allegedly “abused, threatened and coerced women and others around him to fulfil his sexual desires, protect his reputation and conceal his conduct” for decades, “creating a criminal enterprise whose members and associates engaged in … sex trafficking, forced labour, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice”.

Chappelle made a few wise cracks about other controversial topics during the rest of the program, including the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.

“This is the most expensive natural disaster that’s ever happened in United States history,” he told the crowd, prompting uncomfortable sniggers.

“And you want to know why I think that is? Because people in LA have nice stuff. I could burn 40,000 acres in Mississippi for like $600 or $700.”

Chappelle closed his monologue by directly addressing incoming President Donald Trump, “because I know you watch the show”.

“Presidency is no place for petty people,” he began.

“So Donald Trump, remember whether people voted for you or not, they’re all counting on you. Whether they like you or not, they’re all counting on you. The whole world is counting on you. I mean this when I say this, good luck.

“Please do better next time. Please, all of us, do better next time. Do not forget your humanity and please have empathy for displaced people, whether they’re in the Palisades or Palestine.”

According to the indictment against Combs, the hip-hop star allegedly “hit, kicked, threw objects at and dragged victims, at times, by their hair” at his sex parties, according to the indictment, which further claims that he “subjected victims to physical, emotional and verbal abuse to cause the victims to engage in freak-offs”, which he “often electronically recorded”.

The alleged assaults “often resulted in injuries that took days or weeks to heal”, according to prosecutors.

“Combs maintained control over his victims through, among other things, physical violence, promises of career opportunities, granting and threatening to withhold financial support, and by other coercive means, including tracking their whereabouts, dictating the victims’ appearance, monitoring their medical records, controlling their housing and supplying them with controlled substances,” the indictment reads.

Federal agents discovered more than 1000 bottles of lubricant, various narcotics and three AR-15s when they raided his Los Angeles and Miami mansions in March 2024.

He was arrested six months later.

Per the indictment, Combs and members of his Combs Enterprise — including high-ranking supervisors, security staff, household staff and personal assistants — allegedly facilitated the wrongdoing.

Combs’ trial begins in May.

If convicted, the father of seven — who is also facing dozens of lawsuits alleging similar behaviour — could spend the rest of his life in prison.
