Breakfast radio host Dan Anstey and wife Clare have welcomed a gorgeous baby with a full-head-of-hair — just in time for Easter.

BREAKFAST radio host Dan Anstey and wife Clare have welcomed a full-head-of-hair baby just in time for Easter.

Their new first bub — Halle Ann — was born on Sunday, about 3.12pm and weighing about 3.45kg.

Mr Anstey told the Bulletin he wasn’t just in the delivery room supporting his wife during the 16-hour birth, he was also front and centre.

“As her head was coming out, the obstetrician was like you can help pull her out, grab her under the arms and put her on Clare’s chest,” Mr Anstey said.

“I did (cut the umbilical cord). I didn’t want to … It was like calamari. It was quite difficult to cut.

“It was an amazing experience.

“She’s like a little troll doll with all of this hair.”

The new family of three was released from the Pindara Private Hospital on Thursday, five days after going into labour.

Although the pair both admitted neither of them have been sleeping, Mrs Anstey already has her eyes set on more.

“I want to have three,” she said.

“It’s the best feeling in the world. I’ve been wanting to be a mum for so long.”
