The Aussie actor has shared candid family photos from his holiday to Japan, but one shot of his son has caused a stir among his followers.

Chris Hemsworth has shared a series of happy family pictures from his recent ski holiday, but one photo in particular has caused a stir among his followers.

The Australian actor, 41, recently enjoyed some down time in Japan with wife Elsa Pataky and their three children, 12-year-old daughter India Rose and twin sons Sasha and Tristan, who celebrated their 11th birthday on the trip.

From skiing, to shopping and soaking in their hotel hot tub, the Hemsworth family appeared to be living it up following a busy Hollywood schedule for the Marvel actor.

Among the happy snaps shared by Hemsworth included a black-and-white shot of one of his sons flipping the finger to the camera.

And while some fans had a laugh over the image, with one writing, “Love the finger being put in here”, others were quick to express their disappointment.

“Love all the pics. except when ur (sic) kid was giving the finger,” one said.

“Makes me sad to see. Someone who is this young should not be showing this sign,” another wrote.

“Let’s normalize (sic) letting kids do the middle finger smdh (shaking my damn head),” added another.

“Nice thing to be teaching kids to give the middle finger really,” a fourth said.

“Posting a picture of your son doing the middle finger is not funny and I’m not a Karen,” a fifth chimed in, continuing, “I’m a mama who would never let my son do that period. It’s inappropriate.”

Others, however, argued the gesture was all a bit of innocent fun.

“My kids love giving me the middle finger salute too. It’s all about context and it is not at all suggestive of the kind of kid or their behaviour,” one user said.

“Ya’ll so mad over the middle finger and it’s so humorous,” a third wrote.

Hemsworth has since returned home to Byron Bay after arriving at Brisbane International Airport with his family on Tuesday morning, where he was seen disembarking a commercial Qantas flight from Tokyo.
The Thor star is set to head straight back to work, where he’s currently in production for the third film in his Netflix action franchise, Extraction.
