PARIS Jackson, who recently said she was mistaken for a homeless person, went from her trademark grunge look to glam for Hollywood’s hottest Oscar parties.
The new fashion and film starlet, who is appearing in Calvin Klein ads as well as a movie with Charlize Theron and Lee Daniels’ “Star,” hit Vanity Fair’s Women in Hollywood party on Thursday.
The Jackson heiress stunned at the party in a low-cut fringed mini dress showing off her chakra-design chest tattoo. She mingled at the Soho House West Hollywood party — hosted by VF editor Radhika Jones, Ava duVernay and Lancôme — with stars including Zoe Kravitz, Chelsea Handler, Caitlyn Jenner, Janelle Monae, Angela Bassett and Mindy Kaling.
Page Six first revealed early last year that Hollywood agents were working to make Jackson a star. She signed with Rod Stewart’s powerhouse manager, Arnold Stiefel, landed a deal with IMG models and a role in the movie “Gringo” with Theron.
Theron recently said that Jackson wowed them with her audition, “She really got the part fair and square,” Theron added. “There were no favours involved. She auditioned for it, she came in and was super professional and she really killed it.”
And Daniels said Jackson has also been a hit on “Star,” telling The Post’s Cindy Adams, “Paris is terrific. Unusual. A natural. It’s exciting bringing her into this world. She plays a sort of social media guru. Like you gossip queens. Only her character turns from a nice lady into a really tough bitch.
“The series is about girl groups making it. Her character becomes contentious. It’s a recurring role where she turns into a sort of nightmare who drives them bats — t crazy.
“Paris didn’t know what to expect when she first came on. She was guarded. Now she loves doing the show. The girls welcomed her, took her in, and they’re all buddies. See, I love new talent. Some start out with little ego, humble pie, and I appreciate how they blossom.”
Despite her fame and huge social media presence, Jackson revealed in May last year that she was mistaken for a homeless woman.
She tweeted that she was on the set of a photo shoot, and “[I was] one of the first people on set, sitting in the parking lot and this dude comes up to me and says homeless people aren’t allowed in this area.”
The heavily tattooed starlet followed up with a selfie showing the casual outfit she was wearing at the time: baggy green pants, a cropped tee and a colourful backpack. She captioned the pic, “i said oh sorry i’m waiting for hair and makeup should I wait elsewhere also why do you assume i’m homeless.”
