‘Like a wild Sweet 16’: From Cha Cha Matcha to Craig’s ... How the Kardashians do West Hollywood
They’re paparazzi magnets and certainly dress for the cameras. This is where Kourtney Kardashian and co. party in Los Angeles.

You know it’s a place-to-be-seen when multiple Kardashians have been there, clutching iced green teas and wearing oversized sunglasses.
This time, it’s Kourtney Kardashian, who kept up with this season’s latest trend of going braless in West Hollywood.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 40, sported a slightly see-through white bodysuit (and no bra) for a shopping trip with her stylist, Dani Michelle.
The pair were joined by French designer Simon Porte Jacquemus, of the “it” label Jacquemus, for a shopping trip to Robertson Boulevard.
‘I LOVE YOU SO MACTHA’
In typical Los Angeles-style, the Poosh founder teamed the revealing outfit with a “Mini Kelly” bag by Hermes said to be worth $A16,000.
The location was Cha Cha Matcha (510 N Robertson Blvd), the made-for-Instagram green tea venue, that has fast becoming a favourite of Kardashian’s sister, Kendall Jenner, and fellow Victoria’s Secret model Bella Hadid.
The decor is hot pink and green, with palm tree printed wallpaper and neon-lit signs (“I love you so matcha!” and “all you need is matcha!”).
Kardashian was spied at the West Hollywood location (510 N Robertson Blvd), around the corner from Cecconi’s and Craig’s in the Design District.
The upscale precinct, located on the Beverly Hills side of West Hollywood, is magnet for the Kardashians who are often spied at Craig’s (8826 Melrose Ave) … it’s been the venue for everything from a Kim Kardashian and Kanye West date night to Kylie Jenner’s 21st.
So where else can you keep up with the Kardashians and co.?
‘LIKE A WILD SWEET 16’
Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott were there. So were Diddy and Madison Beer. The venue is Delilah and it’s where Drake threw a $US50,000-plus New Year’s event dubbed “The Mod Selection Champagne Party”.
The 4pm In Calabasas rapper completely booked out the West Hollywood bar and restaurant at 7969 Santa Monica Blvd for the party.
And he’s a regular there on any other night while he’s in LA. Delilah was also the venue for a Golden Globes after-party in January that one source described as “like a wild Sweet 16”.
Of course, Drake was there that night, too. And Mad Men’s Jon Hamm, Bridesmaids’ Maya Rudolph and Andy Samberg, clutching a personalised bottle of Don Julio Tequila after co-hosting the Globes.
Delilah is owned by the h.wood group, the well-connected hospitality powerhouse that also operates nearby venues The Nice Guy and The Peppermint Club where the Kardashians are also photographed.
You almost have to be someone to get in — or at least look like it.
“Everyone looks good in this light,” says a fast-talking waitress.
Kendall Jenner is on the menu (well, sort of, in the dessert section). And so is Drake, who was at Delilah a rumoured four times in one week.
Drizzy designed the cocktail dubbed “Champagne Papi” ($30), made of Virginia Black whisky (it’s the rapper’s booze company), Velvet Falernum liquor, lime, mango puree, all served in a champagne flute, with a mini bottle of Moet.
There’s also Drake’s Spritzer ($18): that’s pinot gris, Perrier, lemon twist, peach and grapefruit, served in an iced wine glass.
Kendall is a regular too, and has her own dessert dubbed “Kendall’s Slutty Brownie” ($14), an Oreo-based brownie served with ice-cream.
“The carrot cake is like crack and the Slutty Brownie is like crack, crack, crack,” the server says, from behind the bar.
While rappers are among Delilah’s most dedicated clients, you’re unlikely to see any photographic evidence of it publicly.
The venue enforces a strict no-photos policy for privacy reason. Of course, you might spot a Kardashian seated in one of the millennial pink booths.
